Equestrian Travel Association Announces International Intern
January 16, 15:06The Equestrian Travel Association is pleased to announce the hiring of our first International Intern, Giulia Picca. This is an exciting time for us, and Guilia is filled with the equestrian passion that drives so many of our members.
Born in Italy, Italian is her mother tongue. Guilia is also fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish. Having taught riding lessons for the past five years, she is able to communicate with horses in three different languages!
In addition to her equestrian expertise, Guilia is Internationally educated as well. She earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Pavia in Pavia, Italy. As part of this curriculum, in her third year she was part of the Erasmus Student Exchange Program at VIA University of Denmark. What a world traveler!
Her credits do not end here. Guilia’s hard work gained her a Master’s in International Business and Economics at the University of Pavia. Last year she went on to take courses at the University of Alcala᷃ in Madrid, Spain. Her final studies led her to Buenos Aires, Argentina where she collaborated with Fiat Argentina to research information on the company for her Thesis.
Along with her teaching experience in the equestrian field, she has also taught Italian in a Language School of Alcala᷃ de Henares. Among her favorite interests, Guilia lists horseback riding and travel. However, she is definitely well-rounded with additional interests in Fashion and Design, dance, theater and all outside sports.
The ETA is fortunate to have an Intern with Guilia’s riding experience and impressive credentials. Please join all of us in welcoming her into our association.
